An association,
not a rental
Crans Wake is a non-profit association. There is nothing to sell and nobody to invoice: we share a boat, a pilot and the day's costs.
How it works
An outing lasts an hour and a half and takes up to eight riders. Each takes their turn behind the boat and recovers on board while the others ride. Water time is shared between whoever is there, and that is all there is to it.
That is what lets us go out on a Tuesday evening without waiting for a group of six to form. And since there is no margin, the day's costs — mostly fuel — are simply divided between participants.
You bring your own gear
Board, vest, wetsuit: everyone brings their own. The association provides the boat and its pilot, not an equipment fleet. That is what sets us apart from a school or a rental, and it is deliberate.
The costs
They are shared between the participants of a given outing, on the spot, between friends. Nothing goes through the site: it only tells us who is coming and when.
Becoming a member
Membership runs for a season, 15 April to 15 October, and renews from one season to the next. There is no fee: you become a member of the association under articles 60 ff. of the Swiss Civil Code, you attend and vote at the general assembly.

Late-afternoon slots go first, especially from May to August. The request takes two minutes, and we confirm your place within 24 hours.
