Terms and conditions
Last updated: August 2026
Scope
These terms govern booking and participation in the wakesurf, wakeboard and wakefoil sessions offered by Association Crans Wake, a non-profit association under articles 60 ff. of the Swiss Civil Code, seated in Crans-près-Céligny, departing from Port de Crans-près-Céligny.
The association pursues no commercial purpose: its resources are applied in full to its statutory purpose and to running the boat, and no profit is distributed to its members.
Booking and payment
A booking becomes firm on receipt of full online payment. A selected slot is held for twenty minutes while payment completes; if payment does not complete within that window the slot is released. Confirmation is emailed immediately after payment.
Cancellation by the customer
Cancellation is free and fully refunded up to 48 hours before departure. After that the session remains payable, as the slot can no longer be reallocated. Rescheduling remains possible subject to availability — just get in touch.
Cancellation for weather
The decision to sail rests solely with the pilot. In case of strong wind, thunderstorms, fog or lake conditions incompatible with safety, we cancel on our own initiative and the customer chooses between rescheduling to any date and a full refund. Rain alone is not grounds for cancellation.
Safety and participation
Riders must be able to swim. Buoyancy vests are compulsory during all riding, and helmets for wakefoil. The pilot may refuse or stop the participation of anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour compromises safety, without refund. Minors remain under the responsibility of an accompanying adult.
Lateness
The session starts at the departure time stated on the confirmation. Customer lateness is deducted from time on the water, as the following slot cannot be moved.
Liability
Navigation and supervision comply with Swiss inland navigation regulations. Wakesurfing, wakeboarding and wakefoiling carry inherent risks which the participant acknowledges and accepts. Personal belongings brought on board remain the responsibility of their owner.
Personal data
Data collected when booking (name, email, phone) is used solely to manage the booking and is neither sold nor passed to third parties, other than the payment provider. Access and deletion requests go to pignonvincent@gmail.com.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction is Crans-près-Céligny, canton of Vaud.
